U16 Semi-Finals Results (from Wednesday Feb. 5, 2014)

Game 1: St. Catherine 8 defeat St. Georges College 0

Tries from Maxwell Whiteham and Shemar Henry secured an upset victory for St. Catherine High against St. Georges College on Wednesday.

Game 2: Spanish Town 12 defeat Calabar High 2

Defending champions Spanish Town will defend their title after tries from Steven Paterson and Andrew Camron, and 2 converted kicks from Rameish Smith saw them put away Calabar High. The losers’ consolation points came from Kevon Hinds who kicked a penalty goal.

 

U19 Semi- Finals Results

Game 1: Spanish Town High 16 defeat Calabar 9

Spanish Town carved out a hard fought victory over rivals Calabar in what was a matchup of finalists from last year. Scorers for the winners were Odane Christy (1try), Sean Gayle (1try) and Adrian Christie (1try) and 3 conversions.

For Calabar, Tahjoe Stewart (1try) and Remone Gordon with 1 conversion, 1 penalty kick and 1 drop goal accounted for their points

Game 2: Campion College 30 defeat Greater Portmore High 0

Campion College advanced 30-0 over Greater Portmore after the latter was unable to show for their game

Game 3: Spanish Town High 46 defeat Kingston College 4

Defending Champs Spanish Town had a comfortable win in their game against KC. They were led by Shavon Cuff (3 tries), Dean Gayle (1), Shemar Rowe (1), Samoi Smith (1), Lennardo Harris and Tajay Thomas. Adrian Christie kicked 7 conversions.

Campion College 12 defeat Edith Dalton James 2

Campion College maintained their unbeaten season to date with a solid performance against a determined Edith Dalton outfit. For Campion, Kyle Howard (1), Romaine Knight (1) and Mathew Stone (1) all scored tries. For Edith Dalton, gavin Blake kicked 1 penalty for their only points.
