Some news from around the world including Russia going in search of players abroad, Poland will be at the RLEF annual AGM and the Colonial Cup goes to 4 matches with Norway Pulling out.

Poland at RLEF AGM

Next weekend is super busy for Rugby League. It see the next instalment of the Challenge Cup Final being played at Wembley, also the USARL Grand Final and the second game of the Colonial Cup and it also sees the annual RLEF AGM over the weekend.

The AGM has delegates from it members and observers come for discussions of where the game is going. Last year I was part of the Polish delegation and it was great to see the transparency, where everyone was able to talk with all the RLEF administrators as well as get contacts that could help Polish Rugby League. Again this year Poland will be represented with President Łukasz Łucka and Adam Adamczewski. Once again this will be a great learning experience for the Poles.

Colonial Cup Goes to 4 Matches

Talking to Corey Tukeli of Canadian Rugby League, Looks like the Canada v Norway clash is not going ahead on the 7th of September. Norway have pulled out, however the USA Tomahawks have stepped up to the mark and will play a fourth match against their cross border brothers on the 7th. So this means the up coming colonial Cup Matches will be this weekend in Philadelphia then on the 7th September in Toronto and also on the 28th September in Toronto.
