Serbian Domestic and University Championships

The latest results from the Serbian season have come in. After several years of expansion the Serbian championships are now split into two tiers of four teams each. These are divisions based on the quality of the teams. So Division 1 is the top tier and division 2 hs some of the teams that are still building up their skills. I believe it is a promotion and relegation system they have now. With round one under way now the results in division 1 are; Dorcol 60-6 Radnicki, Red Star 6-12 Tsar Lazar. The table is:

Team P W D L B PD Pt
1 Dorcol 1 1 0 0 0 54 2
2 Tzar Lazar 1 1 0 0 0 6 2
3 Red Star 1 0 0 1 0 -6 0
4 Radnicki 1 0 0 1 0 -54 0

Division 2 results are; Morava  6-64 Nis, Soko 14-36 Stari Grad. A round 3 game has also been played in advance Morava 0-32 Soko. The table is:

Team P W D L B PD Pt
1 Nis 1 1 0 0 0 58 2
2 Stari Grad 1 1 0 0 0 22 2
3 Soko 2 1 0 1 0 10 2
4 Morava 2 0 0 2 0 -90 0

Finally in the University Championships some of the postponed matches from last year group rounds were played. The round 3 game between Philosophy and Military saw the Philosophers win 28-4 and in a 5th round match Organisational beat transport 34-4. Two more matches are left to play, a round 4 game between the Political and Philosophy faculties and a 5th round match between Political and Military. The table stands as:

Team P W D L B PD Pt
1 Philosophy 4 3 0 0 1 94 6
2 Organisational 5 2 1 1 1 28 5
3 Military 4 1 0 2 1 -6 2
4 Transport 5 1 0 3 1 -108 2
5 Political 4 0 1 1 1 -8 1

The semi finals will be played on the 13th of April and the final on 19th of April.

I instantly appreciated the new canadian logo and oath. I think it speaks alot in terms of the direction they want to go, and I think it will appeal highly to youth and interested observers.

Logos are so formal and uniformed usually, and for that reason I loved the uniqueness of it.

Its hard to figure out wether they employed an artist or a 4 year old to create it but…. hmmm

Also in regards to ISC, has anyone noticed the rise of ISC on jerseys not only in the Superleague but increasingly on NRL jerseys? Almost half the teams jerseys are now produced by them.

Good news from both Wales and Serbia. Good to see more Club development going on.

The Canadian logo i reckon is…interesting. Not 100% fan of it but i don’t mind it. As for the English jersey yeah it looks alright however it just doesn’t represent England too much. I dunno it just doesn’t have that classic Lions feel to it like the 1995 World Cup jersey. I dunno just my opinion i suppose.
