The past week has seen some very interesting announcements from competitions around the world. Italy have started to leak what they want to do, as well results from the Greek Domestic comp and LER 1 in France. The RLEF has an independent commission looking at the Serbian allegations against Italy in the European Cup. No decision has been announced yet. In Australia rugby league will finally come under the control of one organisation.
Talking with several people in the FIRL the word is that 2010 will be a busy year. These are the goals for next year:
In the LER 1, Round 7 was played. With Limoux hammering Carpentras 54-14. Villeneuve had the bye. Pia in the Derby beat UTC 54-04, Carcassonne defeated St. Gaudens 30-14 and Avignion went down to last seasons champions Lezignan 12-40. Lezgnan are streaking away from the pack and seem to be uncatchable. Unlike last years slow start it looks like it will be 3 in a row for the Sangliers.
