“I would also like to thank Portarlington for allowing the squad to make the club its base during the trial period and all training sessions.”

The team will train again this weekend as they prepare for the tough weekend of rugby which faces them.

When are the Auckland Rugby League going to send a Broadbase side to Ireland, after all Ireland sent a domestic side down to NZ 2 or 3 years ago, where they played 2 games here in Auckland and about time Auckland Rugby League, with millions and millions and millions in the bank returned the compliment, or is it all about the NSW Cup which gets sweet FA crowds at Mt Smart No 2 when ever the Vulcans play?
