Malta

Malta has released dates for several of its international matches this year. the 4th if June sees Malta take on Norway at home in Hamrun for the European Bowl. on the 2nd of October the Malta XIII take on the South London Storm and then later in the month on the 14th and 17th of October Lancashire Rugby League have their first ever overseas tour. There is another match schedules for the 23rd of October but no opponent has been announced yet.

Rumour Mill

The Rumour Mill is back. This time having some discussions with a couple of the Scandinavian countries, seems like there may be a Scandinavian Cup later this year involving Norway, Sweden and Denmark… and Scott Edwards at Swedish Rugby League has put out a call for ethnic and Heritage players to help out the Swedish cause with the locals. The title seemed to suggest games against Norway and Denmark so its gives a bit of support to this notion. Anyone of Swedish heritage that would like to be involved with the Swedish Rugby League in any way can get in touch with Scott through me.
