So Its been a couple weeks since the last round up and the competitions in France and Lebanon have continued on their merry way. In France, Lezignan are exerting their dominance once again while in Lebanon the new teams have found the going in the first couple of rounds very tough.

Australia, South Africa and Europe

Big announcement made from the Brisbane Broncos and South African Rugby League that the Australian will send over a small touring party of officials to overseas the set up and to help in the refereeing and technical set up over there. They will also hold clinics and sessions with the provincial sides and Universities.

Big news that Jonathon Thurston wants to switch to Rugby Union. Personally I think he is just searching for a deal and I am not sure the ARU would pay for another Rugby League star who is just in it for the money. Maybe Japan?

Chris Walker signed for the Catalans Dragons this week just as Greg Bird has signed for the Titans.

Wales have a second professional team in the Championship one, based out at Neath. This comes on the back of the confirmation that the Celtic Crusaders are moving to Northern Wales to Wrexham. A good move in My opinion as the North of Wales is devoid of any top class Rugby of either code.

Why not take an nrl game on the road because the warriors have never ever taken one of their home games on the road in the past because the 2 unscrupulous owners don’t care.
