Yes France B is basically U25’s I think or the best of Federale and Elite 2 and Elite 1 U25’s. France A is pretty much Elite 1 and Elite 2 of course the full french squad is Super league and Elite 1. France Juniors are the U 18’s.

Yes the Italy v USA rematch sounds quite juicy. Would be interesting. Am not sure where it would be held.

From what I understand chatting with Terry Liberopolous next year there will be a 4th team from Rhodes which will then fulfill the Greeks criteria for competing in the World Cup qulaifiers from 2011/12.

I doubt that they will link up with Itlay, the distances and costs of travel would not be feasable and also their seasons don’t run in sync. Its similar why you wont get a pan German/Czech/Dutch comp as some have suggested, you are talking nearly 1700 km travel for some teams. In know that by Australian standards its nothing but for Europe where its all amateure and you need time off workd, just doesnt happen.

Yes its great seeing the fernch doing well. I was speaking to a Kiwi international the other day (he asked me not to mention his name in print) that played in Toulouse and he had this to say about the French.
RLIS: “Now that you have played the French, how do you rate them, is there any room for improvement there and can you see them beating one of the top 3 in the next 5 years say?”
KI: “France are a good team but they have a lot in terms of attack to work on – i think their defence is getting there but their attack needs to be a lot stronger – Hmm maybe give them at least 6 years and i think they will be up there with England!”

I like the looks of Italy V France B and USA if both teams can get full strength sides on the field. Is the France B best of Elite 1 or Elite 2?

Italy V USA could be a great game providing both teams get their best on the park, even without them. I’m guessing this would be played in the US, should draw a decent crowd aswell.

If Greece only have 3 teams, will they eventually link up with Italy and make it a larger comp. ? Also seen that the AIS team only just scrapped past the french team, the coach praised the french team saying they are not far off becoming a true rugby league force. High praise, high praise indeed. Yes, keep up the good work Druzik, always enjoy the read.

Very good developments for Italy if all can be achieved, hopefully it will increase awareness in Italy for RL and increase funds
